In the final regular season swimming meet of the season, the Northview Titans impressed with multiple good performances, including that of junior Cam Auerbach. He broke the state record in the 50 meter butterfly, once again showing why he is one of the best swimmers at Northview High School and in Georgia. The Titans sent four more swimmers to state this weekend to increase their total to ten. The girls qualified for state in the 200 relay after executing a very strong performance.
“I continue to be impressed with Cam and his continued improvement. I am so proud of him. And not to forget the team as a whole – we qualified ten swimmers for state, which is something to be proud of. Now we have to look forward and prepare for state,” Head Coach Anthony Cianciola said.
The boys finished third and the girls finished fifth this weekend, putting the Titans at fourth overall out of ten teams to wrap up the regular season. They now look forward to state and competing for postseason prizes.
