The Northview Titans swim team competed at the Lambert-Walton-Northview Tri-Meet on Saturday, December 2. The meet was held at the Cumming Aquatic Center. This was the Titans second meet of the season.
The boys saw a couple outstanding performances from their top swimmers. Junior Cam Auerbach, who has been one of the leaders on the team this year, had another exceptional performance. He qualified for the state championships in the 100 freestyle and the 100 backstroke. This marks the third time in his three years at Northview that Auerbach has qualified for State. Freshman Jason Lee, who has been a pleasant surprise this season, qualified for State in the 100 yard fly.
For the girls, Emily Wei was the standout for the Titans on the day. She qualified for State in the 100 yard backstroke.
“Overall the team did well. Walton and Lambert did well too and it was fun being able to race such great teams,” Auerbach said.
The Titans next meet is on Friday, December 8.
