Softball Plays No. 1 Pope

The girls softball team (3-13, 3-12 Region 7-AAAAAA) played the first place Pope Greyhounds (20-3, 15-1 Region 7-AAAAAA) for their second time this season at Pope. This game was the second to last of their long, disappointing season. The Titans suffered a tough loss against the Greyhounds, falling by a final score was 13-0. The Greyhounds were dominant the whole game, never allowing Northview to slide into the scoreboard. The Titans had opportunities at the plate but were not able to convert their chances. The Greyhounds pitched phenomenally and their offense was on point, smothering the Northview defense. The Titans did not make playoffs this year, having won just three games this season. The Titans final game of the season is against Chattahoochee High School. Northview is seeking a win to send their seniors off with a bang and secure a satisfying region win.
